Why “10-4 Good Buddy”- Back in 2011 or 2012, Patrick took to journaling his random thoughts. He thought about all the days we honor those we love; Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and a whole list of others. He wanted there to be a day where a guy could just let a buddy know that he loves him and is glad to call him his buddy. He would call it “Good Buddy Day”. And then he thought- what better day to celebrate this? If you’re thinkin’ October 4th, “That’s a 10-4 Good Buddy!” Then he laughed with his unmistakable laugh. So, these annual golf outings are to celebrate Patrick’s spirit, love and friendship as well as raise money to help others, who like Patrick, suffer an illness that nobody knows about.
