This course is designed to familiarize the participant with the foundational knowledge of a Recovery Community Organization (RCO). Including a breif history of RCOs, core principle and strategies, and review the certification process.

- Definition of a Recovery Community Organizations (RCO) developed by Faces and
Voices of Recovery - Indiana Addictions Issues Coalition early RCO initiatives
- Indiana Recovery Network and RCO’s
- Need for an IN specific certification 7-step process to become a certified RCO
- RCO standards, policies and procedures- step 5 of the certification process
- RCO trainings & technical assistance (TA)

This course provides 1 CEU. CEUs are Category 1 CEU provided by Indiana state statute 839IAC 1-6-2(F)(86)

You will be required to be on camera, participate, and be available during training hours to receive an attendance certificate. This includes not driving, shopping, or other atmospheres that would not be considered like a classroom environment.
