This course is designed to familiarize the participant with the benefits and methods of a participatory process to build community partnerships and identify local strengths through formal and informal assessments.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the definition of the Participatory Process. 
  • Learn the benefits of utilizing a participatory process when creating your RCO Attendees will be provided with a foundational knowledge of Participatory Process methods. 
  • Learn how community asset mapping can be useful when forming community partnerships, developing programs for the RCO, and service delivery to meet the needs of community members. 
  • Learn about community partners who exist throughout the state and how to connect with these established potential partners.  

CEU Information:

This course provides 1 CEU. CEUs are Category 1 CEU provided by Indiana state statute 839IAC 1-6-2(F)(86)

Additional Information:

You will be required to be on camera, participate, and be available during training hours to receive an attendance certificate. This includes not driving, shopping, or other atmospheres that would not be considered like a classroom environment.

Registration information provided as part of this course may be used by MHAI for various purposes, including reporting to state agencies and other accreditation and/or funding sources.
